This pair is a newer design in my belt buckle inspired earrings collection. I wanted to make several pairs that used some of the same basic shapes but were classy in their simplicity. Although the earrings are mostly copper, the rivets attaching the “buckle” to its “belt” are sterling silver. The “buckle” also has a hammer texture that adds interest and contrast to the smooth of the “belt”.
These, as well as all earrings in my shop, have solid sterling silver ear wires. The earrings (with the exception of the ear wires) have an antique patina giving the copper a gunmetal color rather than the red of the raw material.
