I made a series of three buckles inspired by my love of salsa dancing! A belt buckle can be about anything and everything you desire it to be. Due to its size, it proves to be the perfect canvas for imagination to take root!
These three buckles have just as much interest on the front as they do the back! Each buckle tells a story not only with the dancer’s foot work on the front, but also with the partnered dancers on the back! The buckles measure 3 3/4″ in length and 2 3/4″ in width. This particular buckle is the last of the series.
The detail in these buckles is remarkable! From the sterling silver rivets framing the entire buckle to the sterling silver female dancer and copper male dancer on the back, there is much to engage your interest! The buckles are finished with an antique patina creating more contrast between the silver and copper.
