This design was originally a belt buckle; however, I had many request from customers to make it into a pendant. I listened and here it is…I have a few different metal combinations of this same design so be sure to select your favorite!
This specific pendant is a copper horse head base with a hammered sterling silver mane. This exact metal combination was the first one I created and the most popular! Like most of my pendants, I take the extra time to solder the finding (where the necklace attaches to the pendant) to the back so the focus is the work of art and not how it hangs. On my circular horse pendants, I solder two findings on the back (because of the width) so the pendant always sits beautifully while being worn. It really is a lovely piece of art!
